Hello World!

The Start!

Woah! You scrolled back to the start! This is my first post, hopefully of many! I wanted to create this blog to talk about my hobby of cubing. This is my first time doing something like this, so I might need a while to get into the swing of things. Because of things like homework, and having clubs, my posts will be on a non-consistent schedule, however I will try and post as much as possible, whenever I have things to talk about. I will read every comment, so if you have any ideas of what to talk about, let me know!

About me

I am a 14 year old boy, who is obsessed with cubing. I own a TikTok account, HERE, a YouTube channel, HERE, and a Spotify channel, HERE! I cube, which this blog is mainly about, and I use a GAN12 Maglev UV. My PB is 12.08 seconds, and my average is around 28 seconds. My PB was such a lucky scrambleI play the Piano, Guitar, Ukulele, and Melodica, and make music with my MIDI keyboard and GarageBand!

My hopes for this blog

I hope in this blog I can:

  • Talk about new Cubing Releases,
  • Talk about YouCubers,
  • Talk about my Cubing journey and experiences,
  • Talk about new Records,
  • And talk about anything else that comes to mind

Conclusion

Well, that just about wraps up my first post! I hope you enjoyed, and I can't wait to make my next post. Most will be short and sweet, but that's how I roll. See you all soon!

Maglev Cubes: Are they worth it?

Maglev Cubes: Are they worth it? Maglev Cubes are the newest innovation in the  cubing world, but cubes such as the GAN12 Maglev  have had some criticism. Here are my views on the matter, and compiling information so that you can make an informed decision. DISCLAMER: THIS IS OPINIONS, NOT FACTS. RESULTS MAY VARY FOR OTHERS. What is Maglev? Maglev, or Magnetic Levitation, is where two magnets have the same poles facing each other. They create a repulsion, which in a cube is used to replace a spring. The magnets are on a pole, so they can slide around, but don't go flying, and they can be adjusted using a sort of locking system, where they can't extend over a certain length. They are used in some cubes to eliminate friction on the spring, and remove spring noise! They are a great idea, and can be amazing if implemented correctly! GAN12 Maglev UV I own the GAN12 Maglev UV , and personally love it. It feels so much faster than the Gan 11 M Pro , and the lo...
